BREEAM Heat metering and RHI

Back in March 2011, the Government announced the details of the Renewable Heat Incentive policy meant to revolutionise the way heat is generated and used.

In July and then November 2012, the proposals were further clarified to improve the performance of the scheme.  Some of these improvements are designed to tackle the issues relating to the installation of heat meters. 

The current regulations require that all heat meters are ‘properly installed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions’ - So ensure this has occurred.

zeroarch: The design of very energy efficient buildings concerns increasingly lighting. We have therefore drawn this diagram to help proper daylight design from the early sketches on. Based on the data published in 1954 by R. Dogniaux at the Belgian Royal Meteorological Institute, it gives the total natural daylight illumination in Lux at Brussels, on vertical surfaces oriented north, south, east and west as well on as on the horizontal planes at every moment of the year.
